Why customers stay

Over 200 permitted installs since 2005.

Every city has its own ordinances. We handle the required permits and follow the Florida Building Code and National Fire Protection Association safety requirements, so your project is not left open for weeks while somebody else’s paperwork catches up.

  • The proposal is the price

One fixed price in writing before we start. The final invoice matches the proposal, and you see every line item first.

  • Sealed drawings when the city asks

Load calculations and the permit package are handled for you, and sealed engineering drawings are arranged when your city requires them. Every part of your project is handled by one company.

  • Sized from a load calculation, not a sales pitch

Founder Ariel Musibay holds a B.S.E.E. from the University of Miami. We do the load calculation at your home, so the system fits the house instead of a catalog page.

How it works

Five steps, and we are there for all of them.

Most installations take about 8 to 10 weeks start to finish. Most delays come from the permitting process in your city.

  1. 01

    Free assessment

At your home. Under-air square footage, air conditioning tonnage, every electric appliance, and what you need running at 2am. The goal: automatic standby power within 10 seconds of an outage.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

Correct generator size, fuel plan, options across multiple manufacturers, and one fixed price.

  3. 03

    Permits and scheduling

We handle the permits and HOA approval, then schedule every trade and the equipment delivery.

  4. 04

    Installation

Pour the slab, set the generator, install the automatic transfer switch, bury the propane tank, run the electrical and gas lines, then start up and load test.

  5. 05

    Inspection and training

We are there for the final inspection. Then Ariel shows you how to run and test it, and your first year of maintenance begins.

How much does a whole-house generator cost in South Florida?

Most whole-house generator installs in South Florida land between $19,000 and $28,000, installed, permitted and inspected. Your free on-site assessment narrows that to one fixed price in writing before any work starts.

What size generator does my home need?

Most 3 to 4 bedroom homes need between 24 and 38 kW. The right size comes from a load calculation at your home that counts the square footage under air, the air conditioning tonnage and every electric appliance.

How long does a generator installation take?

About 8 to 10 weeks from signed proposal to final inspection. Most of that time is the city’s permitting process.

Do I need a permit for a standby generator?

Yes. Cities in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach require permits and inspections for a standby generator, and many HOAs require approval too. We handle the permits and HOA approval as part of the job.

Is maintenance included?

Yes. Your first year of preventive maintenance is included with every install: one visit with an oil change and a new oil filter, plus one emergency call if you need it. After that you can choose a 1-, 2- or 3-year plan.

Can I finance a generator?

Yes. Financing is available through Synchrony Bank, subject to credit approval. One application can cover the generator and the fuel line.

Which areas do you serve?

Broward, Miami-Dade and southern Palm Beach counties, including Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, plus 29 more cities across the tri-county area.

Which generator brands do you install?

Mostly Generac and Kohler for homes, from 18 kW air-cooled units up to 150 kW liquid-cooled. We also work with Cummins, Caterpillar and Rolls-Royce MTU, including industrial units from 200 kW up to 2 MW.
